We are looking for Deputy Store Managers to join our brand new Carndonagh store!
Please note: Our new Carndonagh store is opening in February 2025. Although you are applying to work in our new Carndonagh store, your training will take place in our neighbouring Lidl stores.
What you'll do
- Support the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of your store
- Target-driven approach to KPIs
- Manage, motivate, and develop the store team
- Maintain excellent shop floor presentation
- Ensure adequate stock levels are always maintained
- Consistently deliver excellent customer service
What you'll need
- You have completed your leaving certificate or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years management experience in a fast-paced environment
- A passion for working in a fast-paced, varied environment, hitting targets and meeting deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The flexibility to work varying shift patterns
- Preferably, previous experience working as an Assistant Store Manager, but this is not essential provided you have the right attitude
- Full driving licence is necessary
- Availability and willingness to travel to our neighbouring Lidl stores to train and work until our Carndonagh store opens in February 2025 is necessary
What you'll receive
Through our salary system, we ensure pay equality across all positions at Lidl
- €48,000 rising to €57,000 after 3 years
- 20 days holiday per annum rising to 25 days after 2 years
