Due to an increased focus on Digital Marketing, we are looking for a creative and innovative Digital Content Manager to join our Marketing Department within the Digital Marketing team. This newly-created role will help advance Lidl’s digital and social content strategy and keep us at the forefront – with a specific focus on video content. This is a varied and interesting role for the right candidate.
What you'll do
- Reporting into Digital Marketing Manager within the Marketing department
- Ownership of Lidl Ireland’s TikTok and YouTube channels working closely with the Social Media Manager and Lidl International team to meet local and global social media strategies
- Managing digital agency partner and being main point of contact
- Working with the Social Media Manager in the development of Lidl’s social media strategy and continuing to expand our social media activities
- Working closely with key internal stakeholders and departments (such as Food Buying, Communications, Non-Food and Promotions) to plan and create content
- Working alongside the Paid Media team in production of native content appearing across Lidl and third-party channels, as well as paid influencer campaigns
- Attending video and photography shoots with agency and production partners
- Assist in meetings, briefs, and brainstorming sessions
- Keep your thumb on the pulse on the latest social media trends build the team’s knowledge on the latest updates to social media
- Managing ad hoc projects as required
What you'll need
- Experience developing and implementing video platform strategies across YouTube and TikTok
- Exceptional copywriting skills with experience writing to brand tone of voice
- Highly creative with an eye for design and strong attention to detail
- Previous experience in a social media role essential
- Ensure work is carried out and completed in a controlled, compliant, timely and accurate manner with emphasis on attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines while working under pressure and multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as in a team
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Full driving license

Through our salary system, we ensure pay equality across all positions at Lidl
- €46,494 rising to €59,286 over 4 years
- 20 days holidays per annum rising to 25 days after two years
