We are seeking a motivated and eager to learn Responsible Sourcing Coordinator with high attention to detail to join our Responsible Sourcing team. You will be responsible for requesting information and maintaining engagement from internal and external stakeholders. You will also get the chance to work on projects. We are looking for someone who can effectively communicate with internal and external parties in a positive and professional manner while learning and proactively supporting in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do

  • Coordinating between departments to ensure the progression of responsible sourcing projects
  • Supporting in the coordination and analysis of Lidl’s external packaging database
  • Supporting the coordination of Lidl’s Supplier Engagement Programme
  • Supporting in the development and coordination of existing and new CSR/Packaging processes
  • Manage project tracker for upcoming, current, and finished projects
  • Assisting in the development of internal and external communications
  • Assisting the line manager with ad hoc administrative duties and projects

What you'll need

  • Degree or experience in the field of sustainability, corporate responsibility and/or packaging technology
  • High attention to detail and quick to adapt to complex situations
  • Driven and eager to get things done with a passion for sustainability
  • Ability to meet deadlines while working under pressure and multitasking in a fast-paced environment
  • Good organisational, analytical and data management skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Team-oriented personality with the ability to work independently
  • Proficient in MS office
  • Advanced knowledge in Excel is beneficial
