We are looking for a creative and organised Social Media Community Coordinator to join our social media team, managing the social media communities, monitoring, and creating online conversation and leading our reactive online content.
What you'll do
- Ownership of community management for Lidl Ireland and Northern Ireland
- Monitor and engage with social conversation around the Lidl brand, providing timely and accurate feedback to customer queries while working closely alongside the dedicated Customer Services team
- Responsible for finding opportunities for reactive content
- Reporting into the Social Media Team Manager
- Using Social Listening to keep the wider business up to date on customer sentiment and conversation around the brand
- Support the crisis communication team when applicable
- Weekly reporting and evaluation of social media and distribution of this to various departments in the company
- Liaising with internal teams such as Buying, CSR or Quality Assurance
- Keep your thumb on the pulse on the latest social media trends build the team’s knowledge on the latest updates to social media
- Continuously improve social channels by capturing and analysing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights, and best practices, and then implementing changes
- Assist in meetings, briefs, and brainstorming sessions
- Out of hours monitoring and live social as required (with time made back)
- Managing ad hoc projects as required
What you'll need
- Previous experience in a social media role essential
- Ensure work is carried out and completed in a controlled, compliant, timely and accurate manner with emphasis on attention to detail
- Aware of cultural trends within Ireland
- Ability to meet deadlines while working under pressure and multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as in a team
- Exceptional organisational, analytical and data management skills

- €33,271 rising to €45,150 over 4 years
- 20 days holidays per annum rising to 25 days after 2 years
