We are seeking a detail oriented, strategic, and highly motivated Non Food Planner to join our Middle Aisle Buying Team. The Non Food Planner will be involved in all aspects of their products from the ordering stage to supporting our operations teams. We are looking for someone who can build up an excellent knowledge of the Non Food market and effectively work with all areas of the business to ensure our Non Food offering performs to the maximum of its potential.
What you'll do
- Ordering Non Food stock quarterly. Choosing new items and reordering repeat items
- Completing market research and price setting
- Planning promotions based on seasonality and to tie in with the other strategic objectives of the business
- Managing Non Food products through their sales cycle
- Providing and checking marketing materials and ensuring product USPs are highlighted in our advertising
- Monitoring turnover, margin, write offs, stock level KPIs
- Working with both operations and head office teams to ensure that we offer customer the best Non Food products in the market
- Liaising with Buyers in Lidl International
- Leading and motivating a team of Non Food administrators
- Participate in ad hoc projects
What you'll need
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to build relationships at all levels of the organisation
- Attention to detail
- Capable of working to strict deadlines
- Track record of developing team members
- Efficient decision making and organisational skills
- Confident and persuasive communication skills
- German language skills beneficial
- Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Experience in fashion or kids & baby categories beneficial

- €51,000 rising to €65,000 after 3 years
