What you'll do
- Lead our Cost and Investment Analysis Team
- Liaise with senior leadership including National Board of Directors and our international parent company on Cost and Investment related topics
- Execute month-end responsibilities, including preparation and analysis of accruals
- Prepare, quality check and distribute cost and investment related reports in accordance with international standards
- Analyse a range of cost accounts and investment projects, identify deviations to plan, perform root-cause analysis and provide commentary on actual figures
- Co-ordinate and deliver cost and investment elements of our financial planning cycle for the following fiscal year
- Steer the business by providing “tailor-made” reports to help them understand their impact on certain costs/ investments
- Act as key advisor in Cost & Investment project management continuously promoting and ensuring cost awareness across our business.
What you'll need
- 3rd Level degree in Finance / Accounting / Business Analysis / Engineering or related disciplines
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills and the confidence to have difficult conversations with senior stakeholders
- Personnel management experience
- Qualified Accountant, CIMA/ ACCA/ACA advantageous
- Strong analytical skills, high level of attention to detail, structured approach to problem solving
- Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and SAP
- German language skills advantageous but not essential
