What you'll do

  • Lead our Cost and Investment Analysis Team
  • Liaise with senior leadership including National Board of Directors and our international parent company on Cost and Investment related topics
  • Execute month-end responsibilities, including preparation and analysis of accruals
  • Prepare, quality check and distribute cost and investment related reports in accordance with international standards
  • Analyse a range of cost accounts and investment projects, identify deviations to plan, perform root-cause analysis and provide commentary on actual figures
  • Co-ordinate and deliver cost and investment elements of our financial planning cycle for the following fiscal year
  • Steer the business by providing “tailor-made” reports to help them understand their impact on certain costs/ investments
  • Act as key advisor in Cost & Investment project management continuously promoting and ensuring cost awareness across our business.

What you'll need

  • 3rd Level degree in Finance / Accounting / Business Analysis / Engineering or related disciplines
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills and the confidence to have difficult conversations with senior stakeholders
  • Personnel management experience
  • Qualified Accountant, CIMA/ ACCA/ACA advantageous
  • Strong analytical skills, high level of attention to detail, structured approach to problem solving
  • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and SAP
  • German language skills advantageous but not essential

  • €74,000 rising to €97,000 after 4 years
