We are seeking a detail oriented, strategic and highly motivated Project Manager to join our Purchasing Administration Team. This is an ideal role for a positive, pro-active team player who thrives in a dynamic environment and will relish working under pressure. The Project Manager will report directly to the Purchasing Administration Department Manager.
What you'll do
- Lead national and international projects which will include close liaison with multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Manage planning, timelines and cost of commercial related projects
- Delegate effectively by defining clear goals, scope of tasks, timelines and expected outcomes
- Foster collaborative relationships internally when working with key stakeholders to ensure productive and efficient processes
- Organise and chair internal training sessions for the implementation of new or updated systems and workflows
- Prepare, monitor and update process workflows for all Master Data related processes
- Identify and capture how data quality can be improved and create solution proposals
- Have an excellent understanding of procedures and processes relating to master data to allow for efficient and accurate query resolution
- Become a knowledge-leader in all workflows and guidelines related to price card maintenance and price change processing
- Provide effective and knowledge-driven cover for absences of Department Manager and other Master Data team members
- Generate and track KPIs within the project scope and wider department
- Ensure compliance with internal data maintenance rules and National/EU regulations through regular process audits and reviews
- Maintain internal systems and databases in both English and German
- Build a network of contacts with International colleagues to help foster an environment of collaboration and support
What you'll need
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships at all levels
- Proven ability within the areas of project management and process optimisation
- Strong ownership of tasks with the ability to understand points of escalation
- Excellent presentation, communication and time management skills
- Confidence to take new challenges and work on own initiative
- Positive can-do attitude with a desire to learn
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Powerpoint
- German advantageous but not essential
What you'll receive
Through our salary system, we ensure pay equality across all positions at Lidl
- €49,500 rising to €63,000 after 3 years
- 20 days holidays per annum rising to 25 days after two years
