Graduates

Once you are offered a position on the graduate programme you will be invited to a Welcome Event in our Head Office. Here you can network with the rest of the Graduates from the various streams. In the summer before you start you will receive a Welcome Call from  the Talent Management team who will go over what to expect at the Welcome Event, and any questions you may have.

You will receive your contract by email which should be signed electronically. Sign it as soon as possible so we can get everything set up in time for your start date.

On your first day you'll attend our Welcome Event where our entire cohort of graduates come together. There will be a welcome event, followed by a building tour, IT handover, Board of Directors meet and great and much more!

We know that as a graduate joining the business you won’t have all the answers and that’s fine with us. To help our graduates settle in, we have developed and perfected top class training programmes to teach you everything you need to know about working for Lidl.

Throughout your training you will be supported by trainers at every level of the business. They will assist you through solid hands on experience and formal training sessions on key topics relevant to your new role. As well as helping you learn the business from the ground up our training programme is designed to help you expand and develop your problem solving and business management skills.

Fancy taking on an exciting challenge for a good cause? The Charity Challenge sees our entire cohort of graduates across Ireland and Northern Ireland participate in a challenge to raise funds for our charity partner.

Come the end of your programme, there will be a graduate gathering where you will receive your graduate certificate in Head Office.
